Yataghans are a type of knives and swords from the Steppes of East Europe through to Central Asia. They have a beautiful, unique forward S curved blade that provides unique handling characteristics. It strongly favours offensive use, as the shape allows for unusual maneuvers that your opponents will not anticipate.
This design is a more fantasy interpretation of the Yataghan. It uses the traditional 'ear' handle, but the blade design exaggerates the more common degree of curvature, and has been lengthened to a more practical length for 1 handed LARP weapons.
